Course Information

Modelto Health Service provides the Canadian Red Cross Babysitting course, which has been updated to focus more specifically on caring for younger children in regular and emergency situations. It is an approved course by the Red Cross that emphasizes First Aid and CPR skills for infants and children. The program covers topics such as handling challenging behaviors, conducting oneself professionally as a babysitter, and running a small babysitting business.

Our Babysitting program aims to increase the sense of responsibility that older youth have when caring for younger children. We believe that this fantastic course is suitable for any pre-teen or teen interested in caring for children of all ages.

Why Youth Courses are Important

Teenagers can not only learn how to care for young children but also acquire invaluable life-saving skills through youth courses such as Babysitting. Our Youth programs offer fundamental First Aid and CPR training that everyone should learn, regardless of age. We believe that it’s essential to learn these skills early on because accidents can happen to anyone.

Enroll your children in our Babysitting courses to boost their confidence in taking care of young children. These courses combine hands-on practice with engaging lectures to help them understand the essential aspects of child care. Participants will learn how to feed, dress, and change diapers for infants and children, as well as how to provide CPR, manage nosebleeds, splinters, breathing emergencies, and more!
